FOREO is a Stockholm design-led beauty and oral-care company best known for its ISSA electric toothbrushes. Instead of nylon, ISSA brushes clean with soft silicone bristles, which the company argues are gentler on gums and more hygienic because they harbour far fewer bacteria than nylon.

A single charge lasts months rather than days, and the brushes are as much a design object as a bathroom tool.
