Buy European. Reduce dependency.

Why Euronomy exists

Europe builds brilliant things. The wind turbines that power our grid. The cars on our roads. The pharma our hospitals run on. The software inside our finance teams.

We wanted to use more of it. To spend our money with companies that share European rules, European values, and our long-term interests.

Finding the European alternative is harder than it should be. So we built the directory we wished existed. Brand by brand, country by country.

What you'll find here

Euronomy is a curated discovery platform for European-made products and services. Every entry is framed against the US or Chinese default it replaces. Pleo against Brex. Vestas against GE. Proton Mail against Gmail.

Each country page shows what that country actually exports to the world. Each guide walks through how to switch. We are not neutral. We advocate for European economic and digital sovereignty.

Who is behind it

Euronomy is built and maintained by Flowcourier, a Copenhagen automation and AI consultancy. Twenty-five years of senior engineering across Microsoft, OpenAI, Umbraco, Dynamics, Pipedrive, and the modern web.

This is a side project for us. A small one we care about. Euronomy runs on Umbraco. The Danish CMS. That is not a coincidence.

Frequently asked questions

Euronomy is a curated directory and editorial platform for European-made products and services. Every entry on the site is framed against the US or Chinese default it replaces. Pleo against Brex. Vestas against GE. Proton Mail against Gmail. We help you find European alternatives without spending an afternoon on Google.

Because where you spend your money shapes the economy that exists tomorrow. Buying European keeps profits, R&D, jobs, and tax revenue inside the continent that has European labour law, European data protection, and European environmental standards. It also reduces strategic dependence on countries whose interests don't always align with ours. We're not asking you to be ideological about it. We're asking you to know what you're choosing.

A brand is European if its headquarters and majority ownership are inside the EU, EEA, EFTA, or the UK. We flag the asterisks honestly. Volvo is Swedish-headquartered but Chinese-owned (Geely). Salomon is French-headquartered but ANTA-controlled. Jack Wolfskin is German-headquartered but ANTA-owned. We list these with the caveat clearly stated so you can decide for yourself whether they count for you.

We add brands editorially. Our criteria: a real product or service, a real European presence, and a real reason to be on the list — typically that it's a credible alternative to a US or Chinese default. We don't accept payment for listing decisions. Sponsored content, when we run it, is labelled as such.

Two ways. Some outbound links to brands are affiliate links — when you click through and buy, we receive a commission at no cost to you. We disclose these. We may also run sponsored placements, always clearly labelled. Editorial selection and our verdicts are never for sale.

Yes. Use the "Add a product" link at the top of any category page. We review submissions editorially. We won't publish every suggestion, but we read every one — and the best ones make the site faster than anything we'd have found ourselves.
