Norbert Woll founded the company in Saarbrucken in 1979 as a passionate home cook who wanted a cast pan with a coating that lasted. About 110 people work in the Saarland plants. Woll stays out of Asia entirely for its cast cookware, which is rare for a non-stick brand at this volume.
