Germany

WMF is a German household name from Geislingen, founded in 1853, making cookware, cutlery, tableware and espresso machines. For generations WMF has been the classic German wedding-gift brand, mid-market cookware done properly.

WMF is not quite as premium as Demeyere or Fissler, but it is far better made than supermarket brands, and most German households own at least one piece. Since 2016 the company has been part of the French Groupe SEB.
