Demeyere is a Belgian maker from Herentals near Antwerp, founded in 1908 and widely regarded as the best stainless steel cookware in Europe. Its seven-ply Atlantis pans heat evenly across the whole base, with no warping and no hot spots.
Optimised for induction, Demeyere is the brand that often converts cast-iron loyalists to stainless. Since 2008 the company has been owned by the German group Zwilling J.A. Henckels.
