Known for: End-to-end encrypted by default, with servers in Switzerland under Swiss privacy law.

Infomaniak kMail
Known for: Swiss kSuite bundle of mail, calendar, address book, drive and meeting tool; Infomaniak is also a domain registrar.
Pricing: Standard free forever with a domain purchase (15 GB). Pro from €6.58/month.
Tuta Mail
Known for: End-to-end encrypted mail, calendar and contacts, with open-source clients for web, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.
Pricing: Free plan. Paid from €3/month with custom domain and unlimited aliases.
mailbox.org
Known for: Webmail, calendar, contacts and video calls with custom domains on bigger plans, on CO2-neutral hosting in Germany.
Pricing: Light €1/month, Standard €3/month, Premium €9/month.
Mailfence
Known for: Belgian privacy suite of mail, calendar, contacts and file storage with OpenPGP encryption support; revenues fund digital-rights organisations.
Pricing: Free entry tier. Paid plans Entry €2.50/month, Pro €7.50/month, Ultra €25/month.
Posteo
Known for: Ad-free, sustainability-focused German mailbox with calendar and contacts via CalDAV and CardDAV; no custom domain.
Pricing: €1/month flat. Extra storage and aliases sold separately.
