Ferrero is one of the world's biggest confectionery companies, an Italian business still owned by the founding Ferrero family, behind Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and the Kinder range, with around 47,000 employees.
On ethics, Ferrero's cocoa is UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified, but its Turkish hazelnut supply chain has been flagged over child labour, and the company kept operating in Russia after the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
