Mapy.com (formerly Mapy.cz) is the maps app from Seznam, the Czech search company that is one of very few in Europe to have held its ground against Google at home. It routes for car, bike, public transport and on foot, and its offline maps are unusually detailed: marked hiking trails, cycle routes, forest paths and viewpoints, mapped with a care Google has never matched. That has made it a standard tool for walkers and cyclists across Central Europe.
Well made and useful far beyond Czechia, Mapy.com is one of the strongest European alternatives to Google Maps, and the obvious first choice once you're off the main roads.
