Building Euronomy the European Way
A site that champions European alternatives ought to be built on them, so we try to run Euronomy on European and open-source tools wherever we can, starting with Umbraco, the Danish CMS that powers these pages.
We are honest about the gaps. Umbraco runs on Microsoft's .NET, and we lean on Cloudflare for speed and security. Below are the tools we build with, the European ones we are proud of and the few we have not yet found a home-grown replacement for.

Matomo (New Zealand)

Our verdict: Great for GDPR compliance with no need for cookies. It’s less feature-rich compared to Google Analytics, but that makes it simpler and more pleasant to work with on a daily basis.
