Kiabi started near Lille in 1978 with the idea of fashion at supermarket prices, and it still sells T-shirts and kids' clothes for a few euros. The family-owned company (part of the Mulliez group behind Auchan and Decathlon) has more than 500 stores across France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium and beyond, and its online shop ships to most of Western Europe. Kiabi has pushed hard into second-hand, with in-store resale corners and an online marketplace, and offers free returns to any store.
