Gina Tricot was started by Jörgen Appelqvist and named after the family; the Tricot part is a nod to the knitwear trade in Borås, Sweden's textile town. The company sells only its own brand, designed in-house, and ships from Sweden to most of Europe. Prices sit at the low end of the market, and the site updates weekly with new arrivals. Gina Tricot has signed the EU Textile Strategy commitments and publishes a factory list, and returns can be dropped at any store in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
