Wiktor Haglöf built backpacks in Torsång in 1914. The Japanese group Asics owned Haglöfs from 2010 to 2023. In December 2023 Asics sold it to LionRock Capital, a Hong Kong private equity firm. A new CEO, Martin Daniels, took over in 2024. The brand runs a Restored programme for repaired and resold gear. Sales were around SEK 976 million in 2022. Swedish heritage and Swedish design, but the owner now sits in Hong Kong.
