The Garbuio family founded Garmont in Montebelluna. Ski boots were the core business until the company hit trouble and sold that division to Scott Sports in 2012. Pierangelo Bressan bought the brand out of restructuring in 2014. The private equity fund Riello Investimenti has owned 65% since 2021, with Bressan holding 30%. Garmont sold more than 500,000 pairs in 2022 on revenue of €40.5 million. Garmont publishes no factory list.
