Unilever is headquartered in London, with roots in both the Netherlands and Britain. Beauty and wellbeing is one of its divisions, home to Dove, Axe, Sunsilk, Pond's, Vaseline and TRESemmé, made in more than ninety countries.
The climate plan is credible: net zero across the value chain by 2039, with science-based interim targets and yearly reporting. Dove holds cruelty-free accreditation beyond what EU law requires. The weak spot was Russia. Unilever stayed for more than two years after the invasion and only sold its Russian business in October 2024.
Our verdict: good, with a late start. Solid targets and a finished exit, but a group this size is hard to judge as a cosmetics brand.
