Franka is a German sensitive-touch cobot specialist. Its arms carry torque sensors at every joint, making them the standard platform for tactile and force-feedback research — almost every robotics research lab in Europe uses a Franka arm.

The company recovered from the 2023 insolvency of its predecessor, Franka Emika, and relaunched in 2024 under the Agile Robots umbrella.
