One of the two European industrial-robotics primes, alongside KUKA. ABB is particularly strong in automotive body-shop welding lines and in the YuMi collaborative-robot range for electronics assembly.

Its Swiss-Swedish corporate parent gives ABB a structurally cleaner sovereignty profile than its closest European peer, with engineering and manufacturing anchored across Switzerland and Sweden.
