DIAS is the Greek interbank clearing and settlement operator, owned by the Bank of Greece and the commercial banks. IRIS signed its EuroPA letter of intent in June 2025 alongside the founding members and went live cross-border a year later. The mandatory POS acceptance rule is what turned a niche service into a national habit within two years.
