Recordati is an Italian company headquartered in Milan and founded in 1926 by Giovanni Recordati, listed on Borsa Italiana. The company focuses on rare diseases, including cortisol and metabolic disorders, alongside urology and cardiovascular medicine.

Since 2018 the private-equity firm CVC Capital Partners has held a majority stake after buying out the Recordati family, which is the main structural caveat on the company's long-term direction.
