Broil King is the flagship barbecue brand of Onward Manufacturing, a Canadian company with roots stretching back to 1906.
Known for: propane gas grills across the Baron, Signet, Regal, Sovereign and Imperial series, plus charcoal grills and smokers. Onward began in Berlin — now Kitchener — Ontario, and moved into barbecues in the 1980s, launching the Broil King line in 1985.
Broil King remains one of the very few global grill makers to build the majority of its products in North America, with factories in Canada and the USA, and its barbecues are now sold in more than 50 countries. In Europe, Broil King has earned a loyal following as a true Weber alternative, prized for its heavy cast-iron cooking grids, powerful Dual-Tube burners and strong value for money.
