Massive Entertainment is a Swedish studio in Malmö, founded in 1997 and owned by the French publisher Ubisoft since 2008. Massive Entertainment is behind Tom Clancy's The Division games and, more recently, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars Outlaws.

Massive Entertainment also develops the Snowdrop engine, which is licensed across Ubisoft's studios and is one of Europe's most widely deployed game engines. French ownership is the caveat, but the Swedish engineering team has stayed remarkably stable and central to Ubisoft's open-world technology.
