CD Projekt Red is a Warsaw-based studio, founded in 2002 and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, that turned Polish game development into a global force. CD Projekt Red is best known for The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077, big single-player, story-led games with no microtransactions.

After Cyberpunk's rocky 2020 launch, the studio spent years rebuilding the game's reputation with major updates and the Phantom Liberty expansion. CD Projekt Red is now working on the next Witcher game and remains one of the clearest proofs that AAA gaming does not have to come from the US.
