Asobo Studio is a privately held French developer based in Bordeaux, founded in 2002 and known as France's most technically ambitious studio. Asobo Studio made both the 2020 and 2024 versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator, as well as A Plague Tale: Innocence and its sequel Requiem.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was a genuine engineering feat, recreating the entire planet from real terrain and mapping data. The Plague Tale games, meanwhile, showed the studio could deliver tightly crafted narrative adventures alongside its technical showcases.
