11 bit studios is a Warsaw-based developer, founded in 2010 and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, known for games with a strong moral and political edge. Its best-known titles are This War of Mine and the Frostpunk series.
These are anti-war and survival games that deliberately put players in uncomfortable positions, such as Frostpunk's choices between feeding children and burning the dead for warmth. 11 bit studios is probably the most morally serious game studio in Europe, and it also publishes work from other developers.
