Vapiano is a German fast-casual chain founded in Hamburg in 2002, known for pasta, pizza and salads made to order at open cooking stations.
Vapiano went through insolvency in 2020 during the pandemic and was bought out by a consortium of European hospitality investors led by former board member Mario C. Bauer, which relaunched the brand under new ownership.
