Supermac's

Ireland Ireland

Supermac's is an Irish fast-food chain founded by Pat McDonagh in Ballinasloe in 1978, serving burgers, chips, fried chicken and milkshakes, and one of the few domestic chains to compete with the global brands on its home market.

Supermac's is family-owned and spent years in a trademark battle with McDonald's, eventually winning European rulings that limited McDonald's hold on the Mac and Big Mac branding.
