Renewable Electricity by Country

In the first quarter of 2026, renewable sources (wind, hydro, solar and biomass) made up 45.5% of net electricity generation across the EU. Denmark led the way at 90.0%, followed by Portugal, Lithuania and Croatia, while Czechia recorded the lowest share at 12.7%.
