Heetch is a Paris-based ride-hailing app founded in 2013 by Teddy Pellerin and Mathieu Jacob. Heetch focuses on price-competitive private hire, known in France as VTC, rather than a premium tier, and operates mainly in France and Belgium plus several North African markets including Morocco, Algeria, Senegal and Ivory Coast.

Heetch is the credibly French alternative to Uber for private-hire rides, with per-trip prices that typically come in 15 to 25 percent below Uber in French cities. For riders who want to keep their spending with a home-grown operator, it is an easy swap in the markets where it runs.
