Cabify is a Madrid-based ride-hailing app that operates across Spain and Portugal as well as much of Latin America, including Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay and the Dominican Republic. Cabify leans into pre-booking, scheduled rides and business expense integration, which makes it popular with companies as well as individual riders.
Spanish-founded but heavily Latin American by volume, it is the natural Uber alternative for Spanish-speaking travellers. Per-ride pricing is roughly in line with local taxi tariffs, and its Cabify Business product is widely used by Spanish-speaking firms. Worth noting that its investors include Rakuten and Goldman Sachs, so ownership is not purely European.
