The Kangoo Van E-Tech is built at Maubeuge in Hauts-de-France, part of Renault's ElectriCity cluster (Maubeuge, Douai and Ruitz) — Europe's largest EV production centre. The Maubeuge plant has been making Kangoo vans since 2011, so the supply chain, dealer network and parts availability are as mature as it gets.
A 45 kWh liquid-cooled battery keeps range stable in cold weather, and the 90 kW motor makes light work of stop-start city routes. As a genuine European bestseller, it is the safe, boring-in-a-good-way choice to replace a compact Chinese van.
