The one-tonne E-Transit Custom is built by the Ford Otosan joint venture at Yeniköy, Kocaeli, following a two-billion-dollar plant investment. It carries the Transit name that has dominated European van sales for decades, now fully electric and backed by one of the deepest service networks on the continent.
From early 2026 battery capacity rises to up to 70 kWh, pushing range toward ~380 km WLTP, with an optional all-wheel-drive variant. An American badge, yes — but engineered and assembled in Europe's neighbourhood, not shipped from China.
