Christiania Bikes has been hand-building its distinctive two-wheels-up-front box trike in Denmark since 1984, born in Copenhagen's Freetown Christiania. It is the archetype that half the world's cargo trikes copy — stable, simple and near-indestructible, with a wooden box that swallows kids, dogs and groceries.
Now offered with Bosch electric assist, it remains a Danish-made icon with parts and know-how that will outlast any fashion-driven import.
