Kerrygold is Ireland's famous grass-fed butter, made by the farmer-owned Ornua co-operative and sold in more than a hundred countries. In the United States it became a genuine phenomenon, prized for its rich colour and taste from cattle that graze outdoors most of the year.
Unlike many Irish drinks brands owned by multinationals, Kerrygold stays owned by Irish dairy farmers themselves.
