People in Need works in 30+ countries across humanitarian aid, education, human rights and development, funded by the Czech government, the EU and private donors. Its SOS Ukraine campaign has raised over 2 billion CZK since 2022, and it has operated inside Ukraine continuously since 2014 — including in areas other NGOs have evacuated.
It also runs the One World International Human Rights Film Festival in Prague (since 1999), Europe's most important human-rights documentary platform.
