Caritas is a Catholic humanitarian network spanning 200+ countries through its national member organisations, funded by member contributions, grants and Catholic donor networks. Its value is structural: wherever there is a Catholic parish there is a Caritas, giving it the deepest ground-truth distribution in the world and a presence in places outside NGOs cannot reach.
Caritas Ukraine and Caritas-Spes Ukraine have been the largest faith-based humanitarian operators inside Ukraine since the 2022 invasion, working on the frontline of the response.
