Bellona is a Norwegian environmental foundation with a distinctly engineering-and-policy-driven approach rather than campaigning, active across Norway, the EU and historically the Russian Arctic. It is funded by government and EU grants, private donors and selective corporate partnerships.
Today it is one of the most credible technical voices on European carbon capture and storage (CCS) and industrial decarbonisation, and its Brussels office is structurally influential on EU climate policy.
