Silampos was founded in 1951 in Cesar, in the Aveiro district, and still makes everything in that one plant. The Supreme Prof line and the pressure cookers are what Portuguese families hand down, and thirty-year-old cookers are common. Outside Iberia the brand sells through Manufactum, Amazon and specialist shops rather than high-street retail.
