Riess | Austrian Enamelware Cookware

Riess is an Austrian enamelware maker from Ybbsitz in Lower Austria, with metalworking roots in the town going back to 1550 and around nine generations of family ownership. Its two-tone enamelled steel designs, some by Carl Auböck, are lightweight, induction-compatible and fully recyclable.

Riess has been the only maker of enamelled cookware in Austria since 1980, and it produces regionally using its own hydropower. Enamel is healthier than non-stick and lighter than cast iron, and Riess does it beautifully.
