 This is an Italian ecommerce platform where all sellers are based in Italy and products must already be physically located within the country as a condition for listing and sale. Suitable for inclusion as a European, locally-operated marketplace.

Gabriele Conti Taguali started http://commercioVirtuoso.it in 2020 to get small Italian shops selling online, at a time when hundreds of thousands of them had no web channel at all. A shop can be live within a day, and the platform keeps the logistics short by matching buyers with nearby sellers, which is where the low-emission claim comes from. The company behind it, Malianta S.r.l., is based in Milazzo and has taken no outside funding. http://commercioVirtuoso.it is a fraction of the size of the marketplaces above, but if you are in Italy and want your money to land with a local shop rather than an importer, it is the one to try.
