>
Known for: Reverse vending machines behind deposit return systems, from Asker, founded in 1972. When you return bottles and cans in a supermarket, there is a good chance it goes into a TOMRA machine, and the containers go back into new bottles and cans. Also sells sensor-based sorting for recycling plants. Listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

TOMRA's collection business grew with each new deposit system, most recently Austria in 2025 and Poland and Portugal after that. In 2025 the company bought CLYNK and launched an upgraded machine that handles glass alongside cans and plastic bottles. The recycling division started a cost-cutting programme after a difficult market year.
